 Igniting Minds Official Web Portal Launched In New Delhi.

Igniting Minds Web Portal - www.ignitingminds.in was launched amongst great fanfare. The event took place at Kalam Memorial, Dilli Haat, INA market, New Delhi. The teeming of students, teachers, parents, and artists in various fields who gathered under one roof are in the festive mood and are very curious to display their talent and moving round the well-designed memorial which inspired the audience to a great extent. All the students were paying attention to note down the inspirational quotes delivered by our departed president and how his life style changed from a paper boy to that of a missile man and finally to an honorable position.

As the Sun was setting on the horizon, the focus of the audience shifted to the stage where the presentations are to be made. The program kick-started with the Water pledge where the entire gathering took an oath to save and conserve water. It was followed by the students of Bharatiya Vidyapeetham sharing their experience of the 87-day travel by road from Rameshwaram to Rashtrapati Bhavan, driving through 14 states. The students of DPS dipped the audience in a music recital especially in Charukeshi Raaga which is the favourite Raaga of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam.

 

Students, who participated in various competitions conducted throughout the week were felicitated. Igniting Minds in association with Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, launched the web Portal, www.ignitingminds.in. by Mr.APJMJ Sheik Saleem, grandson of Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam and the founder chairman of APJ Abdul Kalam International Foundation, House of Kalam, Mr.S. M. Khan, Press Registrar of India and Former Press Secretary to Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam in the presence of other family members of Dr.Kalam, successfully launched the portal.
