Everyone in this world wants to be happy and keep their near and dear ones happy too. Sometimes when you just back and think of your life, you get to know that time just flew and you couldn’t and didn’t do anything. This makes you feel sad and drives you off the happiness, charisma and creativity off your life.

You don’t feel like living, you don’t feel like doing anything, don’t want to indulge in activities which you used to perform earlier and what not. You also lose hope of achieving your goal and just sit aside hoping of a miracle to ward off all the sadness. But it is not that possible.

You have to make yourself happy and feel happy from inside if you really want your surroundings to change and be contended with your life. But don’t fret. Below are some of the ways which you can adopt to ward off happiness from your life and be happy:

  1. Break out of your routine which is not making you happy or is not healthy. Changing habits means changing almost your entire day which is not easy at all. You actually have to make good efforts in changing your habits. For this, you might be needed to change your environment too. After this, try to handle and replace bad habits of yours with good ones.
  2. Meditation is the key to mindful activities. Meditate regularly for at least 10 minutes and see the difference in your activities and thinking. You could experience a steep hike in the way you think and perceive things. Your complete perspective would be changed.
  3. Invest in getting an experience instead of running after materialistic things. Just think for some time and recall when the last time you had actually loved buying something for your near and dear ones, the time when you had planned to buy something for yourself and what not. Instead of buying something materialistic, invest in getting an experience like joining a new class, booking a trip to a beautiful place etc.
  4. Break through your comfort zone. It is really important that you exit from your comfort zone and try out something new, out of the box. This will not only make your brain do something new, but will also sharpen it up and bring happiness along with loads of excitement and creativity.
  5. Help others and seek happiness in it. When you help others and see a smile on their face, it actually enlightens your life and fills your whole day with happiness. Kindness always leads to happiness.
  6. Don’t be ashamed of yourself or change yourself for others. Instead do which inspires you, gives you happiness and makes you proud of yourself. High self-esteem ensures greater degree of self dependency and confidence.

So these are some of the ways by which you can get rid of all the sadness and indulge in some happy hours for the whole day and keep others happy too!
