A Healthy Mind

A healthy mind is where a healthy soul exists. The past has shown us various ways of keeping both our minds as well as our bodies healthy. It is sad on our part that we rarely followed them well enough which had led us to into this deteriorating state of happiness. One of the key factors that decides whether our mind stays healthy or not is how satisfied and happy we feel regarding our actions. Either directly or indirectly, this plays a major impact on our day to day attitude and behavior that we exhibit around the people we stay among. Hypertension, unnecessary stress, insufficient sleep, over limit usage of electronic gadgets, insufficient self-time, irregular sleeping patterns and biological clock etc are all means and ways to disrupt the healthy survival of both our mind as well as body.
It is truly said "an idle mind is a devils workshop". Keeping oneself busy in any positive way can reduce the number of negative thoughts that cross our mind which in turn reduces our stress levels. Reading regularly, going for a walk around places which are filled with fresh and oxygen-rich air, having proper exercise and healthy food are all means to achieve a healthy body, and as we all know a healthy body is the exact path that can lead to a healthy mind. Spreading positivity, carrying positive values among the people you stay with etc also heavily add up to developing a peace which is not achievable by any other means.
Do little things everyday that will make you feel better. Help out someone in desperate need of help, plant a tree, read good articles, talk to people, stay away from social media, spend time with your family, pets and most importantly with yourself. Cycle, jog, gym, walk, swim and come out of your comfort zone and try to analyze what else can make you feel better. At the end of the day, it is important to stay happy. An irritated and unhealthy mind can be a major source of negativity. It can hamper your general growth, your personality diminishes, your efficiency reduces, and compatibility with a group of people is lost. This affects your health and overall is something we would never desire from ourselves.
So dear friends, remember that the key to a healthy living is a healthy mind and a healthy body. Everything you do should have a final goal of leading you into happiness. Earning in million or billions makes no sense if when you are mentally disturbed and incapable of enjoying with it. It is important to be productive in life but remember the fact that it is equally important to stay happy and satisfied with oneself. Introspect yourself and you will know what suits you the best. At the end of the day, look what is the best for you and go for it with no doubts in your mind as well as heart.
