A Message To Youth By Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Six Messages of PM Modi to Youth on National Youth Day
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the eve of 22nd National Youth Day, which is celebrated as the birth anniversary of great spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda, addressed the nation and brings six important message for the youth.
1. Be Visionary:
He said that by the 25th National Youth day will come, one should know that what will be its form, what will be the pledges and what will be the roadmap. By this, he means that there should be a vision in one’s life as to what one is seeking for so that resources in achieving the vision can be used effectively. He also said that the visions of our freedom strugglers which till now has not been achieved, youth should take the responsibility on their shoulders to accomplish the same.
2. Go home and take a pledge:
He said that look around yourself and perceive what should be changed in society and then take a vow to change it. By this statement, he means that one should always be morally strong in his entire life and one who is morally strong can become a good leader. And the pledge you take is not for to tell everyone but to constantly remind yourself that pledge is for you only.
3. Be Job-creators:
He said that today’s youth has the capability of becoming the job creator. I think he said so because the unemployment level in India is very high and the youth with disrupting tendencies can generate employment.
4. Be Skilled:
He said that employment without skills will create a problem in employment. For this government has started Skill India Mission which has an ambitious target of creating 500 Million skilled workforces by 2022. I believe that it is the skill which can bring employment but skill might not be generated through employment.
5. Have limited patience:
He said that “it is said that youth lacks patience but I say that this impatience brings innovation.” He further said that patience is essential but there should not be so much patience that you won't be able to learn new things. I think he was somewhere talking about “animal spirit” which means full of exuberance and this precisely can be the reason for their impatience.
6. Make Yoga and sports a part of life:
He said that sports and yoga not only keeps you physically fit but mentally fit also. I believe these two bits of help in arousing inner consciousness in oneself.
Lord Buddha said "अप्प दीपो भव:" which means that you don't have to be dependent on someone to achieve your goals but you can alone on your own can attain milestones. So don't think someone will come and rescue you from your problems rather it is always you.
