Hey Guys, This story is about a close friend of mine who was passionate about securing a seat in India's prestigious college. Any guess about the college??Let me make it easier for you.He is a mathematics student. So by now, u might have understood that I was talking about Indian Institute of Technology(IITs).So, this friend of mine is really calm, obedient and always curious.Back then, in his school times, he was the school topper and was determined to study at IIT. His cousin used to go to Sharma Institute and he decided to join too. If you are from Hyderabad, then you might have heard about Sharma Institute. It is a very famous coaching Institute which offers training to the students from class 8 for IIT JEE. Every year they conduct an entrance examination and select the credible students based on their performance. My friend has cleared the examination and joined the Institute. His daily routine starts at 4 'O clock in the morning and ends at 9:30 in the evening. He used to attend the IIT Jee coaching classes at the institute from 4 A.M to 7:30 A.M followed by regular school schedule from 8 A.M to 7 P.M in the evening. This continued for three years from class 8 to class 10. As a result, he cleared IIT Ramaiah examination and started attending classes here. He prepared for 2 years staying focused with perseverance. He performed better than the other students in the class tests. Everyone was sure about him securing a top rank in IIT JEE examination. Unfortunately, he lost a seat with 1000 rank difference. He was shattered and baffled about his future. He worked really hard but couldn't succeed. His melancholy state didn't remain for a long time. He didn't give up his dream. He prepared for another year and attempted the examination. In his second attempt, he performed very well in JEE Mains examination. He checked the answer key and was elated to score above 300. Celebrations began at his home but his happiness didn't last long. On the day of result, the score displayed was lesser than he expected. He was petrified by the mishap. He checked his OMR sheet online and realized that though his answers to the questions were right, his marking sequence went wrong. Luckily, few of the wrongly bubbled sequence matched with the correct answers and thus qualified IIT JEE Mains. However, he failed to secure a good rank in IIT Advanced exam but secured a rank in BITSAT. He got into a 5 years Dual degree course at BITS PILANI Hyderabad Campus. After failing in his first attempt, neither did he give up his hope nor did he lose his confidence. He was determined to study in the topmost colleges in India. Well, he worked each and every day to fulfill his dreams. 6 years of struggle has finally paid off. He always had an optimistic approach towards life.Besides studies, he being the head of an elite department, Department of Professional Events he managed to host 21 DIIFERENT unique artists coming all the way around from five different nations which is the best artist line-up till date at PEARL, the annual cultural festival of BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. He exhorts other students to pursue their dreams. So, friends never give up!!!!! Remember there is always a better tomorrow.
