Education, A Powerful Weapon To Change The World.

Education, A Powerful Weapon To Change The World.
The process of learning and acquiring knowledge is Education. To change the world we all need to be educated. The only powerful weapon through which we can change the world is “Education.”
Definition of the word weapon is, “A thing designed or used for inflicting bodily harm or physical damage.” This is a negative connotation for the word weapon.
The most appropriate path to change the world or in other words, we can say that the weapon used to build a powerful nation is Education. To bring the change in the society, the education weapon plays a vital role and brings a positive and effective influence in the society and so on.
Education is the only source that boosts the development of Science, Technology, and humanity in the world. No doubt, it is the education that brought us from the invention of the wheel to the invention of rockets to travel to the planets. It was the only education through which we could communicate and grow together. When a person is literate, he will be equipped to deal with the day to day business dealings of society. The higher the literacy rates, the better choices of employment, and income, status, health care and economic wealth for the family. It is often the best tool to create wealth and happiness. Literacy empowers a person to the extent that little else can and that is the reason it is one of the strongest weapons. The main function of learning is to know how to think positively and critically. A combination of character and intelligence is true education.
Literacy is a subset of education. Literacy gives a person skills and education will direct a person to do right things, enable a sense of discernment, guide consciousness towards progress and give a person inner strength. A truly educated person will show his strength of intelligence and can withstand in the society. Education doesn’t mean of attending school or college. It is something that the educated person can possess the ability to handle the things in a right way.
The most effective way to remove poverty in the society is possible with the effect of education. Through education, one can learn many things and change his lifestyle.
Nelson Mandela once said that education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world. But education as a weapon is possible only when teachers themselves are equipped to enforce this notion and have all the commitment and enthusiasm. We need to give teachers step-by-step guidance and top-class support to enrich the child so that they build themselves and thereby nation and influence the world. Every teacher should have access to the internet and resource centres to get the necessary assistance. A single powerful tool teacher has for influencing a child’s character is his/her own character So that we need to more concentrate on the teacher’s education in order to educate the world. M.K.Gandhi said, “By education, I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in the child and man’s body, mind and spirit.” The word education has its origin from Latin term ‘Education’, ‘Educare’ and ‘Educere’ which means the act of teaching or training, to bring up or to raise and to lead forth or to come out respectively. Education is the formation of an individual to understand and perceive things in the deeper way. Both individuals and society benefit from the right to education. It is fundamental to human, social and economic development and a key element to achieving lasting peace and sustainable development. It is a powerful tool in developing the full potential of everyone and in promoting individual and collective well being.
