Examinations Are Not The End Of The World

The exam season is in full swing and students are immersed in hours of studies. Hard work and practice are certainly the key aspects of achieving success. But, another factor which plays an important role is the support of parents. Apart from being academically involved and guiding the child through various projects and assignments, parents should encourage and motivate their child. Children certainly need academic guidance from their parents but what they need more is their support, love and trust.
Every year just before the exam season, city doctors see a rise in the number of children who seek counseling in stress or anxiety. The best way to tackle these stress related to exams is to treat the exams as an opportunity of self growth. As Swami Vivekananda said, “Have faith in yourself first”, that’s the way. Say, “I can do everything.”
Forget past mistakes, forget failures. Forget everything except what you’re going to do now and do it. Make the most of yourself, for that is all there is for you. You’re never a loser till you quit trying.
Students are under a lot of pressure and there should be some pressure too because that makes you understand or value the importance of doing well. Give your hundred percent, don’t think too much about the result. All of that will come your way because if you put in the effort, it can never go waste. You always get something out of it.
Be prepared. Not scared.
