Dear Mom,
If you are reading this, I just want to say you are beautiful. An inspiration and a role model, that’s you. Bold, strong and independent, that’s you. I have seen you handle situations single handedly, and grow up strong than before. There were ups and downs, but I always knew that you would do anything to make me smile and you always did. I will not mind saying that you are a real superhero. You have done it all so well that I sometimes wonder if I will ever be like you. The elegance you carry after all has happened with you is what motivates me to grow up as a better person and make every dream of yours true. Not just you, every mother is the best. You have been a double treat to me, my mom and my dad as well. Mom, you are not alone. I am with you always and there are mothers like you who love their kids like no other. Who are strong enough to take a step ahead and proudly carry their children all by themselves? This helps me grow and understand things better. The bond we share is the best part we have between us. I wonder how things would have been if dad were there? But then, nothing better than this. The place where I belong to now is the perfect place for me, heaven I would say.
Mom, I have never said you but I have seen you crying at times, maybe missing dad, or maybe scared for raising me alone, or was it the fear of losing me? You are perfect mom, you are beautiful and this is what matters. Crying isn’t for you mom, I stand by you and we are going to walk together. Walk all the ways together. We will have a roller coaster together. The moments you feel low, come to me and we will talk over a cup of coffee. We will walk down the paths of pain together and will laugh at ourselves as well. Learning has been an important part of what we call, US and this is the thing I love the most. We are always learning from each other and will keep on doing that.
To end it mom, I would like to say not just to you, but to all single mothers, that you make people proud. You make the word MOTHER sound more pure and pristine. You make our world, the world of your children heaven. You make me smile, you complete me and you are my reason to live. Thanks for giving me life, and then hanging on with me till this day. I have no words to express how much I love you and care for you. How do I say you that yes mom you are my lifeline. Mom, you might have walked this path alone till now, but now I am all grown up and I am ready to take over things with you. You are beautiful mom, and I want to be as beautiful as you, though I can’t catch up. I want to be your shadow. Love you mom.
