Make This World A Better Place For Everyone

Harshit Gupta has a dream to make this world a better place for everyone, a dream to create a solid visible change.
Bio:
I’m an Engineer by Education and Social Entrepreneur by Choice. I completed my graduation in 2017 from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
How did the idea about starting Womenite emerge?
Womenite started with a dream. A dream to make this world a better place for everyone, a dream to create a solid visible change. I think my mother is the locus point of all my thoughts and ideas that made Womenite a reality. My mother is a homemaker and I grew up to see her typically sacrificing all her energy and happiness for the sake of her family. I soon realized that this is the condition of almost every woman in our society. I realised that what ideally should be equals are being thrashed and discriminated against. That’s when I decided to take a stand.
Team:
I don’t have a team. I have a family. We are a family of around 100 people who are all students and are working very hard to make this world a better place for every individual. These are highly creative and dedicated people who work extra hours just to make a small change.
Our work:
We are conducting educational workshops and campaigns on issues like child sexual abuse, gender and menstrual hygiene in schools and colleges.

Future plan:
Our short term plan is to create a safe community for the people who have access to things as basic as food, awareness, education and sanitation. We wish that we are able to create a benchmark in our society that Womenite is in fact doing something really amazing.
In 5 years, we would expect Womenite to be a name which pops up in your mind when you think about the kind of change you want because that now, is the future generation.
We wish to extend our operations to faraway places and help restore as many smiles as we can. We would like to collaborate with government on large scale so that it becomes for us to conduct our workshops especially in government schools where the need of the hour is more.
