" MAYBE, THE PROBLEM IS THE SOLUTION "

In this fast growing surroundings, we do have less time to worry about the problems that aren't personal. It's difficult to accept, but the grim reality is that there are issues which we all are facing as part of a global community. We all are equally responsible for its taking place and we are all getting affected by it every day, every moment. The only thing which restricts us from addressing this issue is the negligence we show which has resulted in such mass destruction putting the entire mankind to threat.

Yes, am talking about the environmental crisis which calls for immediate attention from national as well as the international community. Plastic waste is a part of that list which has been threatening us from long. We have had such huge quantities of plastic around us that burning that causes air pollution, burying that causes soil degradation. It is one such non-bio degradable waste which is consumed in large quantities by animals, moving around waste bins in search of food and hence resulting in their deaths. So isn't there any immediate solution to this?

YES, the solution is present and is highly effective as well and compatible to implement on a national level. Let's make this solution for utilizing plastic by India more popular. This is by using the plastic available in making roads. This solution was given by professor Rajagopalan Vasudevan, professor of chemistry, Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madhurai. He is popularly known as a plastic man of India. This fantastic idea makes it possible to use plastic available to build roads by combining the plastic which can be collected from different sources such as plastic carry bags, bottles, cups, wrappers etc. These can be cleaned and mixed with bituminous mixes and can be used for road construction. The unique feature of plastic roads is that they are highly durable, need no maintenance till 10 years of construction. They provide an excellent solution for disposing of the plastic and in return, we get high-quality roads which is a basic necessity for us. This also avoids recycling and related expenses. Th
ese roads also have very negligible tendencies to have pit holes which are a major demerit on today's roads. More ever the expenses are considerable and are nothing more than a normal road construction.

Any party who wishes to use this idea for road construction is free to use as there are no external charges to use this patent as it is made free by professor Rajagopalan. We know that our villages are not connected well and we need a long network of roads to connect them. We are spending such gigantic amounts of money on construction of roads if these alternative solutions are provided with proper importance then we can really utilize the money in the most beneficial ways possible. Hence the PROBLEM THAT WE HAVE CAN BE CONVERTED INTO A SOLUTION. In fact the government has made it legal as well and has supported this type solution, but we need to understand that the problem here is not only with the government, but with the entire world so we all need to take this idea and make it popular as it is one of the most genuine solutions from India towards an international issue .
