Satwik Mishra - National Youth Awardee

Introduction:
Hailing from Purnea District of Bihar, Satwik is an engineer by profession, an author by passion and a development professional by choice. Resigning from his lucrative MNC job, Satwik started his journey of social journey, after joining SBI youth for India fellowship. He worked in a rural school of Odisha and benefited more than 500 tribal students of that school. He created a science lab, digital library, various audio-visual learning resources and also taught for computer literacy. After finishing his fellowship, he then got into SPARC Fellowship of TATA Trusts, where he was placed with the Member of Parliament (Paschim Champaran, Bihar) to assist him in speeding up the rate of development in constituency. Working in Champaran, Satwik worked for Rural Street lightening, aid distributions to the specially abled, improving learning and teaching methodology in government schools, creation of digital libraries in girls schools etc and made impact to more than 40 lac live. Currently, Satwik is working under TATA Trusts, for Andhra Pradesh Government's ambitious program i.e. Rural Prosperity mission.
