A person’s beauty is often characterized by their external appearance. No person wants to age. Worst part is when ageing shows on their skin and they start looking older than their age. But in today’s era, it’s hard to get a relief from ageing as work load and stress have started taking toll on people’s mental as well as physical health.
Work pressure is one of the biggest reasons for increased rate of ageing. Long working hours, hectic schedules, constant meetings and presentations and what not have made people put their health on backlog which ultimately is reflected upon their skin and health. Multitasking leads to extreme level of stress which is proven to release free radicals which damages cells and thus, results in ageing while you are young and energetic but your skin doesn’t show the same. Work is worship but going to office with a blooming smile is all that makes your day and keeps you energetic and happy all day long. It also makes others smile too because a single person’s smile can light up the whole environment even if the person is not known to many. So, let us discuss some ways to reduce and get rid of these signs of ageing and its effects.
1. Sleep more
This might be a hard thing to do in such a time of competition and long working hours but in order to stop ageing, you have to manage your sleep well. Manage your sleep such that you sleep early and get up early too. Try to go for at least 6-8 hours of sleep. You can cut down on the time on social media, exchanging drinks etc.
2. Stop sitting, avoid slouching and get to some physical work
Sitting for quite a long time and slouching on the computer can lead to posture disorder and also sleep deprivation along with pain in your shoulders and neck. So, just stand in between and stretch a bit. Instead of sending files via peon, stand up and give by yourself. This is a perfect exercise of couch potatoes.
3. Eat right and stay healthy
Now this eat right has NOTHING to do with DIETING or eating less. It’s just that instead of indulging in unhealthy food or aerated drinks, have some juice and healthy food. Not completely salads or soups, but low fat and less oily. Ultimately, your body needs everything in correct proportion along with proper nutrition to continue working properly.
4. Start using eye cream
Even a fuss-free skincare routine ought to have a good eye cream to keep ageing wrinkles at bay. Skin around the eyes is thinner than the skin on the rest of face and shows ageing faster. Keeping the eye area moisturized can take ageing off your face very soon.
So, change your routine and everything will fall in its place.
