Best out of Waste
Protecting our environment is nothing but protecting our lives. As the pollution is increasing day by day it is the time for all of us to find out the ways to protect our mother Earth. This is not one man’s operation, it is everybody’s contribution.
Let’s have a look at this article and know how we can make the best out of waste. All the corporations and government authorities are struggling and adopting different schemes for instance biogas plant, and preparing compost from waste but these all programs continue initially and later on as the days were going on they will slow down.
Keeping this in view a non-profit organization ‘The Green Environ’ was started its activity with having an idea to promote the waste management schemes continuously without any lagging in their activities. They named the product as ‘My Green Bin’ which was promoted by Green Environ, a non-profit organization.
Pramod Mannadath, one of the board members stated that all the waste management schemes were tied up with the local bodies if for any reason they lose the support from the local bodies, then the whole project disturbs and gradually the project changes its shape and ultimately one fine day all the doors were shut.
Pramod Mannadath said that the organization, as it is a non-profit organization do not receive any subsidies from Corporates and he insisted the people look after their product in the same way that we all of us care for an electronic device at our house and he also stressed that people had an intention that if anything we get for no cost we may not show interest to look carefully about it. If we pay something then definitely we pay interest to care about it.
About Green Bin
Greenrich Grow India manufactured ‘The Green Bin’ that consists of fiber. With the help of microbes, it decomposes all the waste that is generated in the house. The household waste may include fruit waste, chicken feathers and also even the human hair. In the process, it converts the waste into dry manure that can be available after 80 days. All the liquid content in the waste is routed separately into a tank which is attached to the bin without mixing with the manure without generating any odor. According to Pramod, the generated liquid compost can be used for cleaning the toilets and also it can be used as a pest control.
The purposefully designed Green Bin can hold waste for a period of 80 days and have a shelf life for a period of 10 years. Green Environ currently focusing to design separate bins on a large scale that are suitable for different purposes. They want to design the bins which are suitable for small and large business, residential and shopping complexes with a different price range falling from Rs 3,000 to nearly 2 lakhs depending on the size of the bin.
Finally, Mr. Pramod added to his message that they offer a solution that is- they collect the waste manure and provide compost tea for a very reasonable rate that is Rs 2 and Rs 10per liter respectively and he is proud to say that there is a great market for that.
