Forward Is Forward, Speed Never Matters.

Date of Publish - Thursday, 20th September 2018

We are often worried about everyone around us achieving success and getting settled in life. Sometimes, it is mere jealousy and envy but at other times, it is something that triggers us every second. There are cases of depression among many people just because they are worried about not getting settled with a good job and life while all the others of their age are reaching heights. This feeling is really common among youngsters and they do take this feeling very seriously. But, it does more of damage rather than encouragement. So why not eradicate this feeling of being left back?

Why do we compare ourselves with others and get sad over things? It is just because everyone in the society has made us believe that there is a right age for everything and once that age is crossed, we will not be able to do anything and we will be called losers. In reality, this is absolutely not true. Every person is unique in his own way and has his own methods to deal with things. There are many people who complete their graduations at the age of 20 but still don’t get a job till their age is nearly 25. On the other hand, there are many other persons who are never able to complete their graduation but still earn in lakhs by mid-twenties.

Personal development is the most important part of everyone’s lives. Speed doesn’t matter at all as far as we are growing everyday and becoming better than the person we were yesterday. It is a competition of life and here we are competing withourselves. If we start measuring our success with someone else’s ruler, then all what we will get is depression and frustration. There will be tension and all we could do is stressing over things that don’t even matter. Avoiding stress is the first step any person can take to focus on his goals. Forward is always forward, moving on and on every single day is what matters ultimately. Many famous inventors like Thomas Edison and Newton Isaac too spent a lot of time before inventing the electric bulb and the concept of gravity respectively. They struggled, they spent years studying about it and then the great inventions and discoveries were made.

We might seriously take extra time to complete every single thing, but that doesn’t mean we are less than anybody else. Success is a step by step achievement which comes to the ones who show patience and dedication. “Keep patience and work really hard” is the ultimate motto which is to be followed by everyone. If we keep crying over things that aren’t logical by comparing ourselves with everyone else, it is only wasting that precious time which could be utilized for our betterment. Hence, focus at going ahead even if it is as slow as a turtle. Remember that even in the race of turtle and the rabbit, the turtle won in spite of its slow speed because it believed that “Forward is Forward, Speed doesn’t matter”.
