Great Patriot Prophet Expectations On Education.Great Patriot Prophet, expected that Education is the most powerful instrument to bring social change in the society. According to our  Patriot Prophet, Swami Vivekananda, education is an overall coverage of every aspect of the life of every individual. It has to cover material, physical, moral, intellectual, emotional and also spiritual aspects of every student.  He defines that education is the “manifestation of perfection that is already in man”.

The Great Patriot Prophet proposed that education should aim at rectifying the human psychology. It should not be learned just to fill some facts into the brain. It should be useful for the preparation of their character and to lead a sophisticated life.

Patriot Prophet expressed that “ Education is not the information that runs and digests all your life. It should be character-building, ideas shaping, assimilation of thoughts and bringing them into practice. The Great Patriot Prophet, laid stress on education as a powerful weapon to bring out the evils of the society. He expected that our works should concentrate on both moral and intellectual aspects. 

His expectations on education are-

• Education is not just transforming knowledge from teacher to students. It should be action-oriented information.

• He says that if education is not spread to every corner, then there may not be any progress. If any poor cannot be educated, then the education should reach his place.

 • Every individual has to put their maximum efforts to grow from the inside out. No one will teach them.

• Prophet feels that education is the deep interaction between the teacher and the student. 

• There are certain conditions necessary for the teachers while behaving with the students. Teachers should be wholehearted and they should be ready to transform their knowledge to the students.

Let us follow his teachings and try to change ourselves and do good for the society.
