“School is a building which has four walls with a tomorrow inside.”
“He who opens a school door, closes a prison.”
School lays the foundation stone of your life. It is not just a building with walls, a playground, classrooms and some people teaching you something. It is more than that.It is a place which teaches you how to succeed in life. It is a place which lets and helps you grow, excel in life, be your best at whatever you like and learn everything that you can. Schools drag the best out of you and let everyone know of who and how you are.
Schools are meant to teach you want you might not know from outside but the present scenario of schools is that they have become a place of torture for students, a place where education is sold for a few bucks and where children don’t indulge in healthy and productive activities anymore. It has been seen that children tend to indulge more in bad habits while going to school because of their company as compared to getting those habits from somewhere else. Management seats are reserved which are sold to rich people in case of famous and posh schools, just for the sake of showing of. Teachers tend to hit students, torture them and in many, molestation is also one incident which is increasing day by day. Do these things make going to school safe? NO. Not at all.
One thing you can do to both protect and teach your child is to give them schooling at home called as home-schooling. It means that you give your kid schooling till the time you think your child is smart and intelligent enough to go to school and not get into the problems stated above. Home schooling is not an issue unless and until your child is made to learn the things which he or she would be learning while being at school making them competitive enough to deal with people outside.
This concept is not that new in India but is implemented a lot outside. In this, you can teach your child upto a certain class but then you have to get them enrolled in a school for further studies and considerations in colleges and for job.Home schooling sometimes sets back those kids who are not willing to study at home but parents are worried enough to not send them to school at an early age.In that case, some way out has to be achieved so that studies don’t suffer. It has been seen that home-schooled children are comparatively smarter as compared to ones who attend school regularly because they are being nourished and taught by their parents who are the best well-wishers of kids.
Thus, home schooling is gaining popularity amongst parents nowadays with more and more parents now home schooling their children, giving them enough time to spend with them and also teaching them what they had once learnt from their parents!
