Let ' S Pledge To Do Some Ethical This Spring Not Only For Ourselves But For Others Too!

Date of Publish - Monday, 2nd July 2018

As per English dictionary ethical means, relating to beliefs about what is morally right and what is wrong. In simplified language, being ethical means doing something which our principles and morals allow of and which is termed as being our values. Ethics give us that knowledge and thinking ability to distinguish right from wrong, good from bad.

Youngsters have this innate thing in themselves that they tend to get involved in either mindless or destructive activities during holidays. But there’s a lot more to do besides hanging out with friends, chilling with family, making plans with cousins, playing games or just anything else. Maybe doing something good and ethical brings you close to your real self and also help you discover a hidden side of yours which you haven’t encountered. Below are some things which you can think of doing this time during these holidays of yours to make them more meaningful.

Firstly, you can visit NGOs and donate clothes, offer them food and spend quality time with them. These NGOs can be for children who have been abandoned by their parents at an early age or could be some old age home in which old people have been left to stay away from their family due to them being a burden or due to their suffering from a disease costs of which the family might not be able to bear. Spending quality time with them makes them feel at home and they don’t feel lonely or curse themselves for getting such a life. Only they know what they are going through, it is beyond our imagination and thinking.

Secondly, you can feed stray animals like dogs and cows. They might not have a shelter because they are stray animals and no one wants to adopt them, but you can do a bit from your side by feeding them. This way they won’t eat anything and everything from the road. It has been proved by studies that feeding stray animals actually creates a bond between you and them as they feel that affection, even though they can’t speak and express through their words.

Thirdly, you can visit any hospital which works for the welfare and betterment of the needy or for those who can’t afford expensive treatments like cancer hospitals. There you can meet people and actually talk to them, have hearty conversations!

Last but not the least, just pay a visit to shelter houses which aim to work for special children, that is, physically or mentally disabled children. What they only need is care, love and someone who can play with them despite knowing that they aren’t normal like others. They don’t wish to get any sympathy, but little love and concern is what they dream of and wish to have

These are just a few among many things that you can do this spring to have something ethical and humanitarian activity in your kitty. Start rolling!
