Naveen Kumar 

Naveen Kumar is working as a Assistant Professor in JKKN college of Engineering, Komarapalayam. He is the Founder and President of ATCHAYAM TRUST. Aim of the trust is to make beggar Free country and create a awareness among people for not encourage beggars by Money.

They started the service activity on 2014 while he was studying In final year Mechanical Engineering, and Now they are having more members and volunteers For Doing this service. Till date they have met 1900 beggars in around Salem, Namakkal, Erode district. They have rehabilitated 191 beggars by giving job, appointed in to Home, and Joined With their Family and more beggars are from Erode District. They conducted many awareness programs among the public for various aspect (Primary for Beggars). Conducted medical Camp, Tree plantation, volunteers work during flood relief and etc.

About:

Atchayam trust a Non government organization in Tamil Nadu, founded by a visionary youth P.Naveen Kumar who was inspired by real scenario of panhandlers. Aims to create a beggar free India through empowering them for a new life and creating awareness among public not give alms.

Vision:

A Beggar-Free India: A nation in which no citizen is for alms and gives alms. 

Mission:

Shaping the future by counseling, rehabilitating and carrying for the better life of panhandlers.

Work:

HELPING BEGGARS HELP THE SOCIETY : The aim ‘a beggar free India’ leads the trust to have a strategy that would lay a respectable path to the panhandlers. It has been defined as ASC-R PROCESS.

AWARENESS:

With the motto of “No alms to any one; No asking for alms” the involved volunteers with the guidance of trust members conducts awareness campaigns and rallies among the public.

SURVEY AND COUNSELLING:

The identified Panhandlers are counseled after and during survey in the crowded areas to determine the reason, condition, prominent position and their physical and mental condition.

REHABILITATION:

They are accorded with a better life such as unifying with their blood relatives, admitting in old age homes or orphanages and aiding those jobs for their social security.

1. Awarded as ‘National Youth Award 2015-2016’ by Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports on Jan-12TH 2018.
2. Awarded as best 100 youth in Tamil Nadu by puthiya thalaimurai and Gandhi world foundation at 2018.
3. Awarded as District youth award 2018 in Erode District by Erode collector.
4. Best social service award by Namba Gobi Foundation on 2017, Award was given by Tamilnadu Honorable Minister K.A.Sengottaiyan.
5. Best social service award by Inaiyum karankal at Chennai on 2017.
6. Annai Therasa Award by Sithartha Matriculation School at Erode on 2017.
7. Best outstanding young Person Award by JCI Erode Excel on 2014.
8. Best outstanding student of the academic year 2010-2014 in SSM college of Engineering.
9. Best Radio Jacky Award in SSM community Radio on 2013.
