Nepotism. Nepotism. 
Synonyms: Favouritism, partiality, bias, preference, prejudice, one-sidedness, preferential treatment etc.
A critically acclaimed topic that everybody knows about and uses it in a war of words yet never is it discussed openly. There is definitely something more about nepotism than what meets the eye.Nepotism is ease. Nepotism is a release.
For people who feel like they hold the world in the convenient manicured palm of their hands, they think of nepotism and using it in its favour as the ultimate birth-right. Recently there has been so much of controversy and debate about it, but then again, that is all that happens in our country.
If one goes deep enough into ancient history and even mythology one will find that it is omnipresent. The powerful and their lineage were always preferred and still are though they might have incompetency, but so what?
There are conditions that might be favourable to one or the other in certain circumstances and yes, why not have the benefit of the doubt and even an upper hand in it? But using this over and over, and again and again even though you are not eligible to let alone be qualified enough for the post you are vouching for – this, my friends, is a social menace.
This leads to social discontent and what not?
We say that the society is getting aggressive these days and why not? His society isn’t as ignorant as the previous ones neither are it that forgiving. They know what they want and have a clear idea about their rights and duties too.Rights to have fair job opportunities and a duty to bring to light the scams.
Favouring for a person is one thing, vouching is another but using nepotism as means to meet the end happens to be the dead end of social development and the high point of discontent, chaotic discontent that can even usurp the questionable peace of democracy.
In this world where were are fighting tooth and nail to connect and reconnect we have people who are making use of connections to get the best available on the table.
Nepotism is real, not a fable.
