When we hear the music composed by Koti, we feel that we are immersed in the world of melody. As a career, Koti pursued music and with the inspiration, he received from the leading musicians like K. Chakravarthy and Composer like Mani Sharma he successfully moved smoothly with his music career and prepared an own brand for himself.

Saluri Koteswara Rao popularly known as Koti is a music composer, singer, songwriter, record producers, musician and multi-instrumentalists in Telugu film field. Koti is thrilling the South Indians with his musical compositions from decades.  Koti composed music for more than 475 movies in different languages. He composed music in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.  Koti is the son of music director, Saluri Rajeswar Rao. 

In early 1980’s Koti amalgamated with Somaraju who is popularly known as Raj, and the combination of both Raj and Koti is branded as Raj-Koti.  In the year 1994, Koti received Nandi Award for his excellent music composition for the movie Hello Brother.

The duo has composed a maximum of 3000 songs and out of his total compositions, a maximum number of songs nearly 2500 songs were sung by singers like Balasubramanyam and K.S Chitra. A.R Rahman worked for duo Raj-Koti for eight years as a board player.  In the year 2012, in a television interview, the duo announced that they reinstate the Raj-Koti brand.
