We humans are social animals. We always want to be surrounded by people. Introverts is one such category who doesn’t want people around them, instead they are happy with themselves. But we being humans expect respect from others. We wish to get due love, care and attention from our dear and near ones. In office or in schools too, seniors demand respect from their juniors. Teachers demand respect from their subordinates and children. Parents expect respect and love from their kids. But is there any relation wherein you don’t expect these things from others? Maybe not.
How will you feel like if someone treats you badly but expects a good response from your side? What would be your attitude towards a person who hurts and insults you constantly but demands due respect and affection from you? Won’t you feel like just going away or end up with all the suffering!
It is a fact that you should treat others the way you wish to be treated yourself by others. Our behavior towards others is what drives them to behave appropriately towards us. It is really important that you control your words and emotions while speaking, inculcate proper dialect and language while speaking and also be respectful and confident while saying something or putting your points before others. Expect what you give others. As is the saying,
“You sow what you reap.”
Same can be the saying for,
“You get what you give.”
Let us start being a bit cordial to others and behave the way we wish others to behave with us. Then life would be hell lot lovely to live.
