 What Would You Change?

Date of Publish - Thursday, 14th March 2019

Wear a hood that would take you to a different world? Oh not a different world on the outer, but the inner world of yours, your character, your behaviour and your personality. Seems like impossible? But it is possible in your imagination, right?

I am moving towards the end of my college and realise that there are things that I overloaded myself with and then there are things that I could never gather the courage to or just avoided because I felt I did not have enough time. No regrets though! All these experiences taught me but one thing, that it’s all about time management.

So why is it that we always feel that we could have done a lot more? Because we are always eager to do everything but this cannot happen, right? You have to make choices, select a few tasks and leave the rest. Giving your 100% in two things always weigh more than giving 70% in others. But for the time that I managed to waste by useless talks and all the gossips, I wish to change that.

Time is a precious thing and we never have it enough. There is so much to learn, so much to do. I have always been fond of doing a lot of cool stuff. I did some, but every time I took something, a little of something else slipped off my hand. Maybe I was bad at managing time and setting the main goals straight.

What can be done about it now? Can I go back to time and make a few changes? No, not really. Can I just sit and think over and over? Nope, a bad choice. Can I start making those changes now? Yes, that is the thing because it is never too late. And working on yourself always helps.

So what would I change now that I possibly could not? According to my experiences with life, I have made some points:

  • Family is always greater than the best of friends because I have seen people leaving in hard days and even betraying.
  • Do not waste your time in gossips and judging others. Have meaningful talks and simply do your work.
  • Take good care of yourself. Feed yourself with the correct nutrients both physically and mentally.
  • Do not care about what people speak of you because they are simply people.
  • Never overlook your studies because you do not know what future holds for you.
  • Have a positive aura of yours and do not crib about how life is all wrong.
  • Travel, with friends or just with yourself because it makes you responsible and mature.
  • Take out time to read books because they always impart knowledge.

There are a lot more things and then there will be others which you feel like changing. Do not worry about making the changes all at once. You can go slow and one by one because it is not a race that you are expected to win. It is just life that you are supposed to enjoy and live.
